International Garden Festival in Berlin, Germany
There’s still time to participate in the International Garden Festival in Berlin, Germany. It’s “on” through October 15, 2017, in the district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf, east of Berlin’s city center.
The festival, which includes gardening, urban space and culture, aims to make the art of landscaping and horticulture an experience for all senses. The exhibit provides new ideas in contemporary urban development by presenting specially designed sustainable park landscapes to visitors.
In Marzahn-Hellersdorf, everything revolves around green urban spaces and culture in a variety of dimensions. In a topographic terrain around the gardens of the world, the Kienberg and the Wuhletal, the IGA celebrates a festival of international gardening.
In addition, nine international artists have developed local and public-specific works placed throughout the exhibition space.
