Sakura Matsuri, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, New YorkSakura Matsuri, a two-day festival celebrating the blossoming of the cherry trees, will be held April 28 and 29, 2018, in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, New York, New York. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Nearly 60 events and performances that celebrate traditional and contemporary Japanese culture are planned for the 37th edition of the annual event — and Road Trips Gardeners get to walk among the cherry trees, which were a gift of the Japanese government. The garden features a Japanese pond and garden as well as an esplanade lined with some of its 200 cherry trees.
