New England Carnivorous Plant Show
OK, so it’s a niche specialty among Road Trips Gardeners, but — let’s be honest here — who doesn’t admire the chutzpah of a carnivorous plant?
The 15th annual Carnivorous Plant Show hosted by the New England Carnivorous Plant Society takes place September 8 and 9, 2018, in Tower Hill Botanic Garden, 11 French Drive, Boylston, Massachusetts.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Venus flytrap feedings and carnivorous plant presentations are set for 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. each day.
Plant lovers -— and anyone who enjoys the unusual -— can get up close with hundreds of creepy, weird carnivorous plants, and learn how to grow them in many talks and programs offered by the NECPS both days.
