Tudor Place Historic House and Garden, Washington DCHey, Road Trips Gardeners: if the nation’s capital is on your travel schedule, consider planning a stop at Tudor Place Historic House and Garden, 1644 31st Street NW, Washington DC, for a garden tour.

They’re set for 10:30 a.m. August 24, 2018; September 28, 2018, and October 26, 2018. The cost is $10 per person, and walk-ins are welcome.

Like the historic 1816 mansion, Tudor Place’s grounds evolved over time. On a guided tour of the property’s 5½-acre landscape you’ll hear stories of the people who created and cared for the gardens for more than two hundred years.

This outdoor program will take place rain or shine, so dress for the day’s weather. The gardens are open for self-guided tours during regular museum hours Tuesday through Sunday; admission is $3.
