A Display of Holiday Poinsettias in Baltimore
This year’s Holiday Poinsettia Display in the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory & Botanic Gardens, Druid Hill Park, 3100 Swann Drive, Baltimore, Maryland, will feature many a Road Trips Gardener’s favorite poinsettias from years past, as well as some new cultivars.
The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays (except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) December 1 through 30, 2018.
Poinsettias are the signature holiday flower. No longer is red the only option. Look for orange, pink with splashes of white, and variegated as well. Winter Rose, Ruby Frost, Ice Punch, Gold Rush, Polar Bear, and Red Glitter are just a few of the varieties of poinsettias to be on display alongside a “grand” decorated tree.
Psst: they’ll have many colors and sizes of poinsettias available for sale.
A word to the wise for photographers: the photo policy has recently changed. Please leave your tripods and monopods at home Saturdays and Sundays during the show. Hobby photographers are welcome to bring tripods and monopods on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and your commitment to remaining mindful of foot traffic in display areas is appreciated.
