If you’re in Southeastern Florida this weekend, Road Trips Gardeners, you might want to swing by the Miami Orchid Society’s “Tamiami International Orchid Festival“.

Said to be the largest winter orchid show in the United States, it takes place today through Sunday (January 11, 12 and 13, 2019) in the Dade County Fairgrounds Expo Center, Fuchs Pavilion, 10901 Coral Way (also known as SW 24 Street), Miami, Florida. Hours all three days are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $12.

There are all sorts of orchids classes offered in both English and Spanish; all classes are free with your paid admission to the festival. A schedule is online.
