Haarlem’s Annual Flower Parade
Headed to Holland, Road Trips Gardeners? The annual flower parade takes place in Haarlem, the Netherlands, April 13, 2019.
Twenty floats and thirty lavishly decorated cars are part of the Bloemencorso, which follows a 42 km (26-mile) route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. (It steps off at 9:15 a.m., and finishes up about 10 p.m.)
Then, the next day, the floats remain in Haarlem so visitors can see them up-close (and static).
