A Festival of Butterflies takes place July 27 through August 11, 2019, in Powell Gardens, Kansas City’s Botanical Garden, 1609 Northwest U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville, Missouri.

Road Trips Gardeners can walk through the tropical conservatory display and Native Butterfly Habitat, participate in family-friendly drop-in hands-on activities, and view the Minteer Collection Butterfly Display daily. Weekend events during the festival include a butterfly release in the conservatory and a native butterfly show-and-tell.
