Fox Cities Butterfly Festival, Appleton, WisconsinThe 11th annual Fox Cities Butterfly Festival takes place from 9 a.m. ’til noon June 15, 2019, in the City Park, 500 East Franklin Street, downtown Appleton, Wisconsin.

Admission is free. Activities for the whole family include crafts, finger painting, relay races, face painting, balloon animals, bounce houses, martial arts, musical entertainment, and — most importantly — butterfly education.

Road Trips Gardeners who want to participate in the group release of butterflies at noon must register ahead of time to “purchase” butterflies.

The event is sponsored by the Appleton- Fox Cities Kiwanis Club. All proceeds benefit the Kiwanis “iPads for Autism” project and various local child-focused, non-profit organizations.
