If you’re a bulb flower aficionado, it’s not too early to begin planning a jaunt to Keukenhof, the massive flower display near Lisse, the Netherlands.

UPDATE: due to COVID-19 restrictions, Keukenhof will not open until April 1, 2020, and is scheduled to close May 10, 2020. Transportation note: You can take the Keukenhof Express (bus 858) from the bus station in front of Schiphol airport during the run of the show.

Keukenhof now has a hundred flower bulb growers supplying bulbs to the park, and five hundred flower growers participating in the flower shows.

The park is redesigned each year, with millions of flowers in bloom across the park, including tulips, hyacinth, daffodils and narcissus (my favorites? amaryllis!).
