Colorful Poinsettias on Display in Baltimore
“Travel to the tropics” this holiday season wandering a colorful display of poinsettias in the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens, 3100 Swann Drive, Baltimore, Maryland (in Druid Hill Park, near the intersection of McCulloh Street and Gwynns Falls Parkway). This year’s show opens December 7, 2019, and ends January 5, 2020. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
Poinsettias are the signature holiday flower. No longer is red the main attraction. Look for orange, pink with splashes of white, and variegated as well. Winter Rose, Ruby Frost, Ice Punch, Snow Cap, and Red Glitter are just a few of the spectacular varieties of poinsettias that are on display, complete with a grand decorated tree.
Throughout the duration of the show, many poinsettias will be available for sale.
