The Florida Azalea Festival is a two-day event held annually in Palatka, Florida, on the first weekend of March — this year, it’s March 7 and 8, 2020.

The festival celebrates the seasonal arrival of the azalea blossom to the northeast Florida region.

Sponsored by the Palatka Main Street program, it takes place downtown along the riverfront. The festival originated in 1938.

This year, because of storm damage, the Ravine Gardens won’t be holding its concurrent Azalea Days.
