Orchid Show at the Missouri Botanical Garden
Immerse yourself in a tropical oasis brimming with blooming orchids at the Orchid Show in the Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri.
Open now through March 22, 2020, this is a once-a-year opportunity to view a rotating display of hundreds of orchids from the Garden’s expansive living collection. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Peer through lush foliage, bubbling fountains, and trailing vines as you are transported to an exotic hideaway within the Orthwein Floral Display Hall.
On Orchid Nights (6 to 8 p.m. February 13 and March 5, 2020), libations and live music are added to the lush tropical flora of Mesoamerica.
Wander through the natural beauty of the garden’s orchid collection. The people of Mesoamerica have been domesticating and discovering plants for thousands of years, including some of the most important plants we use for food today. As you explore you will discover and learn about how some Mesoamerican cultures used the plants in their environments, and how we at the Garden cultivate and use them today.
