Planting for PollinatorsThinking about spring? Think about planting for pollinators.

Brad Meyers, past president of the Troup County Association of Beekeepers, will conduct a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday (February 26) at Hills and Dales Estate, 1916 Hills and Dales Drive, LaGrange, Georgia.

TCAB was started about 12 years ago to educate, provide fellowship, and encourage beekeepers, youth, and the general public in the west central area of Georgia.

This workshop is aimed at equipping gardeners with knowledge on planting for pollinators. Participants will come away with knowledge about honeybees, how to draw pollinators to your yard, and the basics of honey tasting.

Fee is $30 per person. To register, call (706) 882-3242 or email info@hillsanddales.org.
