Festa dei Cigeli in Fiore, Vignola, ItalyHeaded to Italy, Road Trips Gardeners? “Festa dei Ciliegi in Fiore“, a blooming cherry trees festival, takes place March 31 through April 8, 2018, in Vignola, Italy.

Vignola, which is Renaissance-era town on the Po plain, is located in the province of Modena. This is the 49th year for the festival celebrating the growing of cherry trees. Unfortunately for most Road Trips Gardeners in North America, the event website is in Italian.

During the festival the entire town celebrates with concerts, exhibitions, and special restaurant menus. The “blossoming chariots” parade is a
celebration of cherry tree blossoms.
