A Walk Through the Woods with a Naturalist

Terrific Trees, Ouabache Trails Park, Vincennes, IndianaExplore the variety and majesty of western Indiana trees in Ouabache Trails Park, 3500 North Lower Fort Knox Road, Vincennes, Indiana, during “Terrific Trees”, a casual walk through various habitats.

Meet with local naturalist Terri Talarek King at 2 p.m. Eastern time November 10, 2019, at the Sacajewea Shelterhouse (at the back end of the “lower loop” of the park).

?The walk will be on Trail 7, first down through a wetland and stream area, then to the upper woodlands. Attendees should be prepared for traversing a wet and muddy area, and for hiking some steep slopes. The walk will be 1-½ to 2 hours, and will proceed rain or shine.

“Terrific Trees” is part of the Second Sunday Nature Exploration series at Ouabache Trails Park. Walks are free and no registration is required. All ages are welcome and families encouraged.
