Now’s the time to check out the Fall Flower Carpets in northern Indiana. They’re on display through October 15, 2014.

The “carpets”, located in the downtowns of both Elkhart and Nappanee, Indiana, are loaded with 7,000 mums.

Nappanee’s pattern celebrates the history of theater and the dramatic arts throughout the city. It can be found at Nappanee Center, 300 West Market Street. Elkhart’s design pays tribute to the mighty “Mohawk” No. 3001 steam locomotive on display at the National NY Central Railroad Museum in Downtown A&E District’s Central Park, Waterfall Drive & High Street, Elkhart.

Viewing platforms provide great photo opportunities and creative lighting effects allow for fun evening viewing.
