illinois_glencoe_cbg_phloxCultivate 15, an AmericanHort Experience, takes place July 11 through 14, 2015, in the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Granted, it’s for horticulture professionals (but we Road Trips Gardeners aspire to those lofty heights, don’t we?).

Topics include greenhouses, nursery, floral, landscape, interior plantscape — if it grows (and can be sold), it’ll be here. Seminars will be presented by university professors, agriculture consultants, product vendors, botanical gardens and public relations pros. A complete schedule is online.

(Oldtimers may remember the OFA Short Course, first offered in 1930. That was then, Cultivate is now.)
