France’s Salon Européen du Bonsaï

Mauro StembergerThe Salon Européen du Bonsaï will be held for the seventh year in Saulieu, a city in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (a region in the east of France).

Set for October 12 and 13, 2019, in the Parc des expositions Jean Bertin, Rue de la Gare, Saulieu, it is one of Europe’s largest exhibitions of bonsaï from both Europe and Japan. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. October 12, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 13. A marketplace of bonsai vendors and potters will offer bonsai accessories.

Scheduled to conduct demonstrations are Bjorn L Bjorholm, Jan Culek, and Mauro Stemberger (pictured). The simultaneous demos will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. October 12, and 12:30 to 4 p.m. October 13.
